Modon para, Shariatpur

Dear Mijanur,

I am really disturbed for your long silence. How can you be that much forgetful? If you please don’t mind, today I’ll tell you something that may hurt you.

Two months ago when I met you I saw you smoking. I am terribly shocked to learn that a good boy like you can be a smoker. Don’t take smoking for fashion. It is an addiction.

Smoke contains nicotine which causes many fatal diseases like cancer, heart disease, bronchitis and many other complication to brain, throat, lung and blood. Your smoking doesn’t hamper you only rather it causes the same problems to nearby non-smokers also. You will be astonished to know that one puff of cigarette smoke contains fifteen billion particles of injurious matter. After all this is a dirty habit.

I hope by now you should have understood the hazardous sides of smoking. Write a letter and let me know that you have given up smoking at all.

Yours sincerely,

Faysal Khan
